‘Laymen's Breakfast'

Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 675 Viser Ave., will host a ‘Laymen’s Prayer Breakfast’ at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with a message and testimonial period at 9:30 a.m. On Sunday, the church will hold ‘Men’s Day Fellowship’ event. L.C. “Buckshot” Smith of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church will be the speaker for the fellowship program.

Antioch Baptist Church on Arkansas 57 in Stephens will hold a Pastor’s Aid Program at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Victory Church sets a

relationship seminar

Victory Church, 1283 U.S. 278, will host a "Relationship Conference" at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, and at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

The guest will be the Rev. Richard Exley, who is a "seasoned minister with a wide variety of ministry experience as pastor, radio host, conference and retreat speaker as well as the author of 35 books," states a news release.

Child care will be provided for all services except the 9 a.m. service on Sunday.

Mt. Olive Church set

for youth day/revival

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 136 Arkansas 376 North, will host its Annual Youth Day at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Roy Wesley Jr. of New Hope Church of God in Christ as the speaker. The church’s youth revival will be held at 7 p.m. nightly from April 27-29. The Rev. Luther Harris of Beulah Grove Baptist Church of El Dorado will be the evangelist.

Whitest Chapel Baptist Church, 1032 Cook Ave., will hold a "Spring Revival" at 7 p.m. nightly from April 27-29. The evangelist for the program will be the Rev. C. Dennis Edwards, senior pastor at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock.

New Starlight Baptist

Ebenezer United Methodist Church will hold its annual gospel music program and homecoming event beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, with Gary Davis, Ellen Marsh and Southern Harmony featured. A potluck lunch will be held at 12:30.

The Relay for Life team for Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2889 U.S. 79 N., will host a 'Gospel Music Explosion' at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

Also, a Men and Women’s Day program will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.

The guest church for this program will be Good Hope Baptist Church of Buena Vista. Lunch will be served.

Faith Temple Church has missionary guest

Faith Temple Apostalic Church, 1038 Dunning Ave., will host worldwide missionary Dorin Esanu at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.

Esanu has come from Romania and has preached all over the world, including France, Africa and Russia, according to information in a news release.

Greater New Hope Church of God in Christ will host the Camden North District's "Annual Choir Evening" at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.
