CAMDEN — Organizers of "Doggie Adoption Day" hold some of the dogs that can be adopted from the local pound. The event was held at Atwoods on Saturday and also helped promote the Facebook page “A Home for Fido,” which helps Camden Animal Control. Texann Shadden, right, is the founder of the sight and started the adoption day. Wendy Swain, left, is a volunteer who’s been involved with animal rescue for several years, and Jackson Walthall, middle, is an animal control officer.
