The Camden Fairview Golf team picked up a win against Junction City and Smackover this week at the Camden Country Club.
Shane Collins medaled for the Cardinals with a 41 followed by Mason Furlow with a 46. Chad Sponer (48) and Kirk Collins (49)rounded out a solid top four. Tyler Wenderling and Hayden Bradshaw contributed to the win.
The C.F. Lady Cardinals Golf team - consisting of Arleana Brown, Ty'Kira Monago, Ta'tiana Lee and Anna Sanders - are scheduled to be in action today in Hot Springs in a match against Lakeside. The girls didn't get to play in competition Tuesday due to a lack of participation from Junction City and Smackover.
"I'm proud of the team because they are really putting in a lot of hard work," C.F. Golf Coach Rachael Hendrickson said. "We are off to a great start and we hope it continues."
