CAMDEN — The Camden News Advertising Department won several awards in the 2017 Arkansas Press Association Better Newspaper Advertising Contest.
Graphic designers Quintin Green and Tina Sams, and Administrative Assistant Robyn Yarbro placed in six categories in the contest held March 11, in Hot Springs.
The awards won by the department are as follows:
• Advertising Special Section - General/Magazine, third place.

Judge's Comments: Very nice guide, loved the stories and all the go to information, ads were all beautiful, good recipes inside.
• Advertising Special Section - Sports, second place

Judge's Comments: Love how it was put together, enjoyed meeting the players of all teams, pictures were good, great details.
