Walker-Scott
Loberta Corine Walker-Scott was born May 18, 1927 to the late Mary Rutherford Wilson and Louis Walker. On Monday, April 16, 2018, she received her release from this earthly life to her heavenly reward.
She united in marriage to the late Gus Scott of Camden, Arkansas. They were blessed with two children, Shirlye Scott-Hopkins and Jerry A. Scott.
Forever cherishing her memories are her children, Shirlye Scott-Hopkins and Jerry A. Scott (Vivian); grandchildren, Malik Scott (Kenitra), Jerry A. Scott Jr. (Sabrina), Khalisha Scott (Krystal Edward-Scott), Dewey Hopkins III, Javioun Scott and Indyia Scott; 18 great-grandchildren; special friends, Raymond and Mary Furlow and Lena Scoggins; and a host of relatives and friends.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 21, at Rising Star Baptist Church in Amy, with burial at Eternal Rest Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Dawn will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
