CAMDEN — LRJ wins tournament
The LaYond Reshae Jones Elite 9th-10th grade travel team won a tournament in Arlington Texas recently. The team defeated Texas SWAT, 88-43 to win the championship. The team consists of players from Bearden, Hampton, Fordyce, Harmony Grove and Arkadelphia and is coached by Kendrick Juniel Sr. and assistant coach Ronald Thompson. Bearden’s Lavarious Hughes led the team with 15 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals.
