Patsy Janett Heigelmann, 64, of Camden, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Ray Pennington and Florence Clemons Pennington; loving husband and soul-mate, William “Bill” Heigelmann; daughter, Tina Pierce; sisters, Brenda Taylor and Marcia Earnest; and sister-in-law, Jean Pennington.
She is survived by daughters, Christy Word and Emily Harrison (Allen) of Camden, Sandi Heigelmann of Bristol, Connecticut; sons, Billy Heigelmann (Kristi) of Bearden and Erik Heigelmann of Camden; bonus-daughter, Sheena Green (Luke); one brother, Marion Pennington of Bearden; two sisters, Chris Emerson and Lanell Williams of Bearden; ten grandchildren, Dylan Heigelmann, Mykenzi Word, Tanner Word, Kayli Heigelmann, Patrick Green, Charlotte Harrison, Vivian Harrison, Jaston Burks, Grayson Pierce, Monroe Green; many nieces and nephews; and all of her “East Camden Neighborhood Kids.”
“The family would like to acknowledge the vast generosity and loving care provided to our mom over the last year by OCMC Hospice: Dr. Larry Braden, Nurses, CNAs, and Volunteers. A special thanks to Rena Davis of OCMC Hospice and caregiver, Feleicia Henderson for adopting our family as your own and being there when we all needed you most.”
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with graveside services at Salem Cemetery in Bearden.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
