CAMDEN — Carl Crawford
Carl Jacob Crawford, 32, of Locust Bayou, died on Aug. 4, 2018 ,as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born on Feb. 20, 1986, in El Dorado, the son of Mark and Sherry Starr and Dewayne Crawford. He was a 2004 graduate of Hampton High School and worked as a maintenance tech at Aerojet. Jake loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed cooking for them at gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Crawford.
Jake leaves behind his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of seven years, Marybeth; and their two beautiful daughters, Gracey and Mckaylah; his parents, Mark and Sherry Starr of Locust Bayou and Dewayne Crawford; sister, Jami Lucas and husband, Boone, of Junction City; brothers, Blaine Starr and wife, Sarah, of New Edinburg, Justin Starr and husband, Zachary Leach, of Conway; his grandparents, Jerry and Sharon Lemons of Locust Bayou, James and Louann Moore of East Camden, and Wynona Steelman of Hampton; uncles, William Lemons and wife, Leighann, of Camden, and Trent Crawford of Hampton; aunts, Debbie Evans of Maumelle, Stacey Murphy and husband, Michael, of Bentonville; nephews, Triton, Weston, Rylee and Mark; niece, Logan; and numerous extended family and friends.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial at Salem Cemetery in Bearden.
Pallbearers will be Bub Oliver, Todd Hearnsberger, David King, Cliff Johnson, Doug Wilson, and Bodie Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Wayne Harcrow and Jason Sanders.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
