The Unity in the Community will host “National Night Out” from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Carnes Park.

There will be free games, food, activities for kids, live entertainment and fun for the whole family.

The event has traditionally be a success in Camden with the intention of bringing neighbors and members of the community together. Activities set to be held will be bounce houses, a puppet show, the Camden Fire Department’s Fire Prevention House.

National Night Out is held annually in communities across the United States, U.S. territories, and military bases world-wide on the first Tuesday in August- with the exception of Texas and a few other select areas, which hold the event on the first Tuesday in October.
