its ‘Prophetic Summit’

New Beginnings Deliverance Church, 1725 Mt. Holly Road, will host a “Prophetic Summit” program at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Dr. Greg Gunn of the Word/Impact Network will be the guest.

Rocky Hill Church to

honor its pastor/wife

Rocky Hill Church of God in Christ in Chidester will honor its pastor and his wife, Supt. and Mrs. Recarto King, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest speaker will be Supt. Donald Page of New Life COGIC in Waldo.

Scholarship is to held

at New Haven Church

The Annual John T. Curb, II Memorial Scholarship worship service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at New Haven Baptist Church.

The Rev. Michael Harris of New St. James AME Church will be the speaker.

Two Bayou plans its

homecoming services

Two Bayou United Methodist Church, located 10 miles west of Camden off oh Arkansas 278 West, will hold homecoming services at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9. Ellen Horseman will be the speaker for the event.

An old-fashioned potluck lunch will be shared at the church following the services.

The wooden structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Pleasant Hill Church

honors pastor, family

Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 200 Pleasant Hill Road in Chidester, will honor its pastor, the Rev. Rodney Phillips, and his family at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The guest will be the Rev. Jerome Battle of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Baptist in Batesville, Mississippi.

Oasis Church plans

Oasis Church Camden, 2409 Mt. Holly Road, will hold a “launch service” at 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16.
