The Camden Fairview School District produced another intelligent college-bound student athlete earlier this week.

C.F. Senior Bailey Carmody, daughter of Scott and Kathleen Braswell Carmody, signed her national letter of intent to continue her softball career at Kilgore College in Kilgore Texas.

Carmody is a two-sport athlete, earning All-State honors in volleyball and being a three-year letterman in volleyball and softball. She is also an avid travel team softball performer and has been playing since a young age. She has been a consistent standout athlete for the Texas Glory 18-U team as well as for the Camden Fairview Lady Cardinals Softball team.

Carmody is the second Lady Cardinals softball player to sign to continue her career on the college level this year. She has played a critical role in helping C.F. Softball get back to the state playoffs in consecutive years. She is coached by C.F. Head Softball Coach Kendra Center.

The ceremony was held at the C.F. High School Library and was attended by Carmody’s family, friends, administrators, teammates and coaches.
