The schedule for the community pool and splash pad at Carnes Park for the summer months has been released.
General admission to the park is $3, and the charge to be part of the group fitness classes is $3.
Also, private swim lessons are $15 per session or $60 per week. Group swim lessons can also be held, and the superintendent of Parks and Recreation can be contacted for details about the details.
The cost for swim parties is $200 for private/off-hours events. The available time slots for these parties is 10 a.m. until noon, and from 6-8 p.m.
Additional fees may be added for groups needing more than four guards.
Indoor facilities available for a charge.
Patrons are responsible for their own food, drink, and decorations. No glass or alcohol is allowed at the pool.
The Teen Town Building is also available for pool parties at a charge of $50.
According to the City of Camden, the pool is open on Monday and Tuesday at the following times for the following activities:
• From 7-10 a.m. for swim team practice.
• From 7-10 a.m. for pre-lifeguard training class.
• From 9-10 a.m. for water aerobics.
The pool will be open on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 p.m. for evening aerobics.
The pool is open from Wednesday through Friday at the following times for the following activities:
• From 7-10 a.m. for swim team practice.
• From 7-10 a.m. for pre-lifeguard training class.
• From 9-10 a.m. for water aerobics.
• From 10 a.m. until noon for pool parties.
• From noon until 6 p,.m. open to the public.
• From 7-9 p.m. for pool parties
The pool is open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 6 p.m. open to the public.
