Lillie M. Edwards, 92, of Camden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1926, in San Augustine, Texas. She was the eldest of two children born to Henry Love Matthews and Pearlee Trotty. She worked at Firestone in Magnolia, and later retired from BEI Defense System in 1996 in Camden.

Lillie Mae joined New Haven Missionary Baptist Church in Camden in 1957 as a faithful member where she remained until her death. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and was always willing to help anyone.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ace Cleveland Edwards Sr.; sister, Bernice Bosley; daughter, Johnnie Mae Sherman; niece, Betty Woodkins; and nephew, Clinton Bosley.

She is survived by her son, Joshua McCoy (Pat) of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Della McCoy of Springdale; son, Jon Isom (Retia) of Houston, Texas; daughter, Renee Edwards of Springdale; daughter, Lynette Langley (Fred) of Camden; son, Ace Cleveland Edwards Jr. of Forrest City; stepdaughter, Gloria Edwards Elliott of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittney, Shelby (Chris), Meghan, Jon Isom, II, Kiana, Kailen, Anthony, Reginald and Ashley; one niece, Clarissa Fisher; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeffery C. Fields will officiate the services. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
