Cedric Darrell Miller died on Nov. 8, 2018.

He was born on Nov. 23, 1981, to Cedric Holmes and Anita Miller in Camden. He graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 2000 and attended Southern Arkansas University Tech. Cedric was an active member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church where he also served as a Sunday School teacher.

Cedric married Shaunta Davis on Oct. 29, 2007, and they had three children. Known to most simply as “Ced,” he had a great love for his family. His personality was very cheerful and he never met a stranger. His smile was infectious. Ced was a great father and a great friend to all he encountered. He was employed as a supervisor at Strobel Energy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jett Miller; maternal grandfather, Madis Tatum; paternal grandmother, Bobbie Hunter; and paternal grandfather, Donnie Lee Holmes.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Shaunta Miller of Camden; three daughters, Tiana, Kyla, and Chloe Miller - all of Camden; one son, Casyn Miller of Camden; mother, Anita Miller of Camden; father, Cedric Holmes of Texarkana, Arkansas; maternal grandmother with whom he had a beautiful relationship, Rosie Tatum of Chidester; four maternal brothers, Michael Miller of Houston, Texas, Jonathan Ford of Harrell, Arkansas, twin brother Fredrick Miller of Texarkana, and Reggie Miller of Chidester; two paternal sisters, Twanda Walker and Pamela Holmes - both of Atlanta, Georgia; one paternal brother, Derrick Holmes of Denver, Colorado; three maternal aunts in Camden; one maternal uncle in Camden; two paternal aunts in Denver; three paternal uncles in Camden and one in Orange County, Texas; one niece; seven nephews; and a host of additional relatives, friends, and church family.

R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Hebron MBC in Camden with the Rev. Lonnell Moore officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon until 5 p.m. today at the funeral home in Magnolia.
