CAMDEN — Verna Hollan
Verna Hollan, 90, of Carterville, Illinois, died on Nov. 12, 2018.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1928, in Stephens, Arkansas, to Joe and Emma Lancaster Lusby. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Camden. She married Murry Hollan on Jan. 31, 1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Homer and Troy; and sisters, Opal, and twins, Ila and Ina; Mildred, Genelta, and Valerie.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Earls and husband, John, of Carterville; son, Troy Kelly and wife, Geralyn, of Liberty, Mississippi; grandchildren, Kim Gray and husband, Gary, of Carterville, Mallory Earls-Daugherty and husband, Mccaine, of Carterville, and Christopher and Michael Kelly of Liberty; great-grandchildren, Brock and Rafe Tuttle and Phillip and Johnnie Daugherty - all of Carterville.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Riddick Cemetery. The Rev. Beth Waldrop will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riddick Cemetery Fund.
