The Harmony Grove Hornets (6-1, 4-0) will hit the road on Friday to play the Fouke Panthers (2-5, 1-3) for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The Hornets enter the game off of a 50-15 win over the Centerpoint Knight last week during Homecoming.

Fouke enters the contest after being beat by the Smackover Buckaroos, 49-0.

Fouke lost its coach Rick Barker to suspension in August after being charged with misdemeanor public intoxication. Since then, Trent Wilson has stepped up to the plate to salvage the season.

The Panthers utilize a Multiple I formation on offense and use a Multiple defense. It has a lot of depth with its 40 plus man roster and don’t have as many players playing on both sides of the ball like many other teams in the conference.

Fouke returns two outstanding junior in its quarterback Hunter Lansdell and running back Dillon Richardson.

Lansdell is an all conference student athlete and Richardson averaged 10 yards per carry in 2017.

Fouke average 11 points per game and gives up 26 points per game. The Panthers have played a tough schedule with losses to Smackover and Prescott - two of the top teams in the conference next to H.G. - and have been shut out three times.

The Hornets are tied for first place in the 3A-5 with Smackover and have already secured a playoff spot.
