The Camden Police Department has arrested a man for sexual assault with a minor who had been reported as a runaway from Texarkana, Arkansas, according to a police report.
The juvenile’s guardian - who stated that she lived in Dallas, Texas - reported that the child was a runaway around the time that she was making contact with Ardisdueay Dafney, 30, on Facebook during January and February of this year, the CPD report states.
Dafney reportedly picked the juvenile up and brought her to Camden where they lived together for months, according to the report.
During that time, the juvenile became pregnant.
A warrant was obtained for Dafney, and he was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at a relative’s house. He had his first court appearance on Wednesday where a bond of $500,000 was set for him.
