Gearoldene Walker, 71 of Locust Bayou passed away in her home surrounded by all 11 of her furbabies - seven cats, three dogs, and a bird - on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019.
Gearoldene loved her animals and her family and loved family get-togethers. She loved to sit by the poolside. She was a stay at home mama to her fur babies. She will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harrold Munnerlyn, and her mother Fae McPherson.
She is survived by her five children, Brenda Holland (TJ) of Cabot, Lynn Causey (Jessie), of Bixby, Oklahoma, Douglas Causey of Jacksonville, Deanna Peters of Jacksonville, Justin Peters of Bearden; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ronnie McPherson (Barbara) of Jacksonville, James W. McPherson (Melissa), from Camden, Leroy McPherson, of Jacksonville; and one sister, Alice Jones (Gary) of Gainesville, Texas.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation for family and friends will be from1-3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A short memorial service will be held at the home of Gearoldene Walker’s home at 12832 Hwy. 278 W. in Locust Bayou. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
