A friend invited me to a “Conversation Cafe” last Monday here in El Dorado. The event was held at the TAC House and was sponsored by the city’s Safe Streets Committee.

These gatherings are held periodically here in town and are described as “conversations among diverse people in public places on subjects that matter.”

I’m glad I attended. It was my first.

Suze Rutherford, a health education consultant and trainer, led the conversation. She works for International Training Associates and has been coming to El Dorado for the past 17 years.
