Virginia Louise Weatherly, 97, of Camden, formerly of Bearden, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Ouachita County Medical Center. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Garrison, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Weatherly; and parents, John and Tommy Roweana Watson.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Weatherly and wife, Judy of Greenbrier, Terry Weatherly and wife, Jo, of Bearden, Joe Douglas Weatherly and wife, Cherrynell, of Bearden, and Russell Weatherly and wife, Barbara, of Fordyce; daughter, Burke Brown of Mobile; sister, Jerry Crawford of Houston, Texas; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery in Garrison, Texas.
