Catherine Bolser Nichols, 65, of Camden and formerly of Magnolia, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born on July 6, 1944, in Galveston, Texas. She was a cook for the Magnolia Public Schools and was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Magnolia. She loved her family, country living, enjoyed gardening, and was a very giving person.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Kenneth Willhoite; stepfather, Donald Vann; and brother, Stuart Vann.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Nichols of Camden; daughter, Amy Hendricks and Steve Moore of Waldo; brothers, Kenneth Willhoite and wife Amanda of Emerson, John Vann and wife Ann of Magnolia; grandsons, Jordan Bolser of Camden, Layden Wyrick of Waldo; granddaughters, Satin Hendricks and Braylin Wyrick, both of Waldo; two very special friends, Michelle Cooper and Jennifer Smith both of Magnolia.

Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eric Goble officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
