Onevia was born on March 11, 1926, in Dubach, La., and died on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.

She is survived by her children, Mildred and Hozie Miller; and a host of family and friends.

Viewing was from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, Wash.

Funeral was at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Tacoma, Wash.
