Robert Lynn Campbell, 56, of El Dorado, died Saturday at the Medical Center of South Arkansas following a sudden illness.

Born Feb. 18, 1953, in El Dorado, he was the son of Carlyle G. and Mabel Rogers Campbell. He was an independent claims adjuster and was owner of Chambers Claim Service in El Dorado. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting, and was an accomplished musician.

Preceding him in death along with his parents was a son, Jason Campbell.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Campbell, two stepchildren, Savana Pennington and David Pennington, all of El Dorado; three brothers, George Dallas Campbell (Sharon) of Tulsa, Okla., Larry Campbell (Cherrie) of Aurora, Colo., and Ron Campbell (Linda) of Edmond, Okla.

Bailey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Cliff Winters officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
