Vera Della Cox Harvey of Chidester passed away Feb. 14, 2010. She was born June 28, 1924 in Ouachita County to Luther and Ellen Cox.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis "Goat" Harvey.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Harvey Figg of Camden and Kay Harvey Leath and her husband, Mike, of Waxahachie, Texas; one granddaughter, Michelle Leath Burks and husband, Brian; one grandson, Shane Leath and his wife, Amy; three great-grandchildren, Bonham Leath Burks, Jackson Ellis Leath, and Georgia Ella Leath, all of Waxahachie; and one sister, Mildred Hollingsworth of El Dorado.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bluff City Cemetery with Buddy Ratliff officiating.
