James B. Walker, 80, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado.

He was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Leona Walker.

He is survived by one daughter, Nicole Walker of Houston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Debra Ross of Milwaukee, Wis.; three sisters, Bobbie Morris of El Dorado, and Betty Kirk and Debra Ann Ellis, both of Camden; five stepsisters, Betty Jackson of Texarkana, Texas, Tracy Brown of Pensacola, Fla., Synthia Williams of Louisville, Miss., Barbara Edmonds of Meherrin, Va., and Linda Thompson of Norfolk, Va.; three brothers, Elder John Wheeler of Milwaukee, and Miles Walker Jr. and Gerald Walker, both of Little Rock; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery at Buena Vista. Reddick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
