John Steven Blank IV, 69, of New Market, Va., died Feb. 27, 2010, in New Market. He was born July 26, 1940, in Pawtucket, R.I., a son of the late John Steven Blank III and Julia Kovac Blank.

He was a lifelong appliance repairman, a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Shirley Ann Wolfe Blank, who died Oct. 29, 2001; and a daughter, Lisa A. Blank Goff, who died July 2, 2008.

Survivors include three sons, John Steven Blank V of New Market, Cecil E. Blank of Camden and Chris A. Blank of Glennwood, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Victory Assembly of God Church in Camden. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery in Bradley County.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Victory Assembly of God Church in Camden.
