Mandy Adair
Mandy Lee Adair, 85, of Stephens, died on March 7, 2010, at her residence in Stephens.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1942, in Lewisville, to Eddie and Addie Lewis-Moss, and was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Adair Sr.; three daughters, Pearl Lee Shepeard, Lucille Heard and Peggy Manning; and sister, Mary Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters, Mary F. Meadows of California, Delore Dunn of Dallas, Texas, Nancy Davis, Mary Hughes and Betty Davis, all of Stephens; five sons, Rance Adair, Oscar Adair Jr., Miller Adair and Willie Adair, all of Stephens, and Willie Manning of Magnolia: two brothers, Eddie Moss Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Monroe Moss of Muskegon, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Inc., of Stamps is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Stephens, with the Rev. James Manley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Featured Camden Business Directory Articles
