Ruth Vincent
Ruth Maxine Vincent, 89 of Camden, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Ouachita County Medical Center. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert H. and Emma Stewart Hindman; her husband, William Vincent; sons, Robert Gillham and Virgil Gillham; sisters, Opal Matcham, Elsie Merritt, Gene Barton and Arbutus Hindman; brothers, Edward Hindman and Silas Hindman; and son-in-law Ray Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughters, Clara Gene Gillham and Charlene Ferguson both of Camden; three grandsons, Terry Ray Ferguson, Robby Gillham and Silas Gillham; three granddaughters, Robyn Westabrook, Amy Fletcher and Timmie Ferguson; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Greer and husband, Travis of Camden; many nieces and nephews; daughters-in-law, Gloria Gillham of Chidester and Lois Haug of Mith, Kan. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Bearden. The Reverend Al Green will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday at the church before the service.
