Jessie R. Hicks, 61, of Camden passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.

Lifelong resident of Camden, he owned Jessie Hicks Heating & Air and worked in the business for over 40 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hicks of California.

He leaves behind his wife of 35 years Paula Hicks; mother Lillie Erber and her husband, Burton, of Camden; daughter Kristi Skinner and husband, Robert, of Camden; son Robin Hicks and wife, Kimberly, of Virginia Beach; son Kevin Hicks of Arkadelphia; daughter Rachel Jones and husband, Ryan of Fordyce; sisters, Sue Lindsey and husband, James, of Camden, and Maxine Johnson and husband, Malcom, of Alabama; brother, Sammy Hicks and wife, Alice, of Camden; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Camden.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
