Peggy Moore
Peggy Jane Anders Moore, 72, passed away on March 5, 2010, at the Beartooth Manor in Columbus, Mont.
She was born and raised in Camden, the daughter of Myrl and Mildred Anders. She was the oldest of three children. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth L. Moore Sr., on her 18th birthday, and the couple settled in Arkansas, raising five children. Kenneth was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and was pastor of two churches in Arkansas. In the 1970s, the couple, along with their children, traveled full-time throughout the mid-south as a family, musical evangelistic team. Her family produced a gospel album in 1984 entitled “Moore Gospel”. Peggy enjoyed singing with her family and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Moore Jr. of Conway, Rick Moore of Rogers, Garry Moore of Conway, and Randall Moore of Conway; one daughter, Lisa Terry of Nye, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Myrl Henry Anders of Galena Park, Texas, and John Thomas (Tommy) Anders of Hot Springs. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, at Crestview Memorial Park, 3077 East Grand Avenue in Hot Springs. All friends are relatives are invited.
