Lorice Hill, 75, of Buffalo, Texas, and formerly of El Dorado, died on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, following a lengthy illness.

Born on Dec. 18, 1934, in Union County, she was the daughter of Tom Monroe and Vida Belle Carelock Hill. She attended school in El Dorado and spent most of her life here. She was a member of First Assembly of God. The latter part of her life was spent at Conroe and Buffalo, Texas. She was liked by everyone who met her.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were sisters Vera Hill Murphy, Alberta Hill Hubbard and Hila Delonia Hill and Cleo Hill White.

Survivors include three sisters, Florece Hill White (her twin sister) and her husband, Paul, of Conroe, Texas, Cleta Faye Hill Perdue of El Dorado and Dollie Tittle of Houston, Texas; and a brother, Thomas Hill Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Conroe.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hill officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. today.
