James Edward Powell, 87, of Missouri City, Texas, died March 10, 2010.

He is survived by a son, Raymond Powell; and two grandchildren.

Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Macedonia AME Church with the Rev. Shirey Renix officiating.

Viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
