Ron Beaty was born in Paducah, Ky. in 1935, and died peacefully at home on Oct. 20, 2012, in Sun City, Ariz.

He was a mechanical engineer and was retired from Lockheed Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Paula, who resides in Sun City; and four children.
