James Haywood “Woody” Nutt, 89, of Hampton, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at his home.

He was born on May 21, 1923, in Calhoun County. He was a retired forester and an entrepreneur. He was also a Navy World War II veteran and a member of the First Family Church of the Living God.
