Across the United States, many debates have centered around public and private schools implementing school dress codes. This topic has been well documented. Plenty of research supports both the pros and cons of these debates. Even during the late 70s, I had no problem finding research to support my position of advocating dress codes. My reasons for advocating dress codes then and now are still sustained with proven evidence.
