Now that the political filing season is close to opening, it’s a good time to remind candidates about some guidelines regarding political coverage in the Camden News.

Currently, the newspaper publishes candidate announcements, along with photographs. These articles of individuals’ announcements that they will be seeking elected offices have usually run on the front page and generally with as little editing as possible, although some editing is necessary.
