EL DORADO — Columbia County will be the big winner in the extension of a grant for the Families and Children Together Inc. (F.A.C.T) Early Head Start program, although four other counties will get a portion of the grant money.

F.A.C.T Executive Director Dr. Brenda Holder said the program received notification in November that it would receive $1.9 million in federal stimulus grant funds.
