City police and county deputies stayed busy this weekend working an unusual number of accidents, many caused by slick spots on roads where wet surfaces iced when temperatures dropped.

The sheriff’s office reported a one-car, roll-over accident in which the car caught fire. The driver was reportedly unhurt, but has been arrested for driving while intoxicated.
