EL DORADO – A consent judgment concerning Pilgrim’s Pride not properly paying employees at a Texas facility was signed Monday in Federal Court by U.S. District Judge Harry F. Barnes.

The document settled allegations that Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. failed to properly pay overtime back wages as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The document against the country’s largest poultry processor was filed in the Western District of the state’s U.S. District Court, located in El Dorado.
