Betty Wilson has announced she will seek re-election to the office of Ouachita County circuit clerk in the May Democratic Primary.

Wilson was employed in the circuit clerk’s office for eight years prior to being elected to the position in 2008.

She is a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended Henderson State University where she majored in business.

She worked for Arkansas Power and Light Company for five years, and owned and operated a family business for 32 years.
