School uniforms to be district-wide


Diversity in dress Students and faculty of the Camden Fairview School District demonstrate the diversity in clothing within the proposed dress code guidelines. Lora Cameron, shown at the podium, introduced the models and discussed variations in dress that would allow students to show their individuality.
A group of parents and other interested parties attended the second and final meeting of the Camden Fairview School District’s proposed uniform policy committee Monday night, and some in attendance said they were happy to learn that the proposal, to possibly affect grades kindergarten through five, would soon be enforced throughout the district.

Christy Carr, chairperson of the committee, addressed the audience and revealed that, if the proposal is passed by the school board, the dress code will become effective in higher grades within two years.
