EL DORADO – The Junior Elks Herd No. 473 of Gusher Lodge will host its first Black and White Banquet on Feb. 20 at the lodge, located at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 19th Street in El Dorado.

The celebration will be an annual event at which a young person will be honored for their charter, efforts and ambition to excel, a news release said.

Each area church is asked to sponsor 10 students to come to the banquet. Tickets will be $10. The guest speaker for the event will be Stephen Green of Little Rock.
