The inaugural Zachary Brian Hooper Memorial Scholarship Fund Daffodil Poker Run will be March 13 in Camden.

One of the event’s organizers, Dotty Harris, said future plans are to include the event as a regular feature of Camden’s annual Daffodil Festival and Garden Tours set this year for March 12-13. All proceeds go to the Zachary Brian Hooper Scholarship Fund.

Hooper was a student at the University of Arkansas when he was killed in a motorcycle accident in May 2009.

Day of the event registration will be from 8 until 9 a.m. at VFW Post 4554 in East Camden....
