Camden Public Works Department and Ouachita County Highway Department crews are on standby ready and waiting for predicted winter weather that could include snow fall as earlier as this afternoon.

According to the Associated Press, as much as three inches of snow was expected to fall today and Friday in the southern portion of the state.

The National Weather Service says the heaviest concentration will be south of a line from Mena to Hot Springs to Stuttgart.
