Some confusion about the identity of a body found Wednesday near a creek behind the Fairview Racquet Club has been cleared up by city police.

According to Capt. Scott Rosson of the Camden Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Roy Daniel Childers was also known as Roy Hodges.

“He was known by both names,” Rosson told the Camden News.

The Camden News reported that the body had been identified as Roy Hodges based on information from the Camden Police Department.
