Camden and Ouachita County seemed to have dodged a predicted bad weather bullet that blanketed the area with snow, but left city streets and county roads clear following a late Thursday snowfall.

Camden Public Works Department director Sam Steelman told the Camden News today that crews spread sand and salt Thursday afternoon as the snow began to fall in Camden and crews were back out early this morning.

“We’ve had no problems,” Steelman said.
