Valentine’s Day

Parents help hand out sweets to a second-grade class at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School in El Dorado. Although the school didn’t close because of the snow, the kids did get a break from school to enjoy the treats during their Valentine’s party on Friday.

This is a busy week in South Arkansas. Today is Valentine’s Day, the snow has melted in all places and restaurants are open for treats for loved ones. Also, Mardi Gras is this week. The Mardi Gras decoration on the left is on the front door of a lawyer’s office, the snowwoman is in front of a local florist and the sign on the right is in front of a restaurant in downtown El Dorado.
