Area schools address grade inflation
In January of this year, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that the Harmony Grove High School and the Stephens High School in Ouachita County were cited by the Arkansas Department of Education for inflating grades. The Camden News now has a little more information about how the state has determined whether or not a school’s grades are inflated.
The two Ouachita County schools are among 58 in the state who were listed as having inflated grades.
