Medicaid, a program that Gov. Mike Beebe says faces dire financial trouble, isn’t getting much attention during the legislative session on the fiscal 2011 budget.

The Beebe administration wants to stop the expected $400 million growth in the $4 billion-a-year program.

Legislators, for now at least, say they’re content to let Beebe work it out.
