Though it was indicated in an earlier interview with Camden Fairview School District Superintendent Dr. Jerry Guess that the district’s school board would vote on a proposed dress code for grades K-5, the board did not take a vote during its monthly meeting Tuesday night.

Parents, a few teachers, the chairperson for the district’s Bi-Racial Committee and Ouachita County Judge Mike Hesterly attended the meeting to voice their views about the dress code.
